Using the TextUs Chrome Extension, you can import phone numbers into your account from BlueSky on both the Caregivers list view and individual Caregiver pages. You can also send and receive messages using the Chrome Extension, and even view those messages as notes that log on each Caregiver's page. 

Importing a List of Contacts from the Caregiver List View

  1. In BlueSky, click on "Caregivers" 
  2. Set your filters in BlueSky to search for the caregivers you want to import
  3. Once you have the list that you'd like to add pulled up, open the Chrome Extension and click on the first tab at the top called "Phone #'s on Page" 
  4. Make sure that the correct contacts are showing up, and if not, click the refresh button in the top left-hand corner of the Chrome Extension
  5. Click "Import to Group"
  6. Either type in a new group name or click "Select Existing Group" 
  7. Once your group is either selected or named, click the green arrow
  8. Scroll down on the page to load all contacts on the list, and then click "Select Loaded Contacts" until the button turns gray and says "All Contacts Loaded", then click the green arrow again
  9. Your contacts are now imported into a group, and you can proceed with sending a Group Broadcast! 

Importing a Single Contact from an Individual Caregiver Page

  1. In BlueSky, click on "Caregivers"
  2. Find the caregiver that you'd like to import, and click on their name to open their individual caregiver page
  3. Open the Chrome Extension and click on the first tab at the top called "Phone #'s on Page" 
  4. Make sure that the correct contact information is showing up, and if not, click the refresh button in the top left-hand corner of the Chrome Extension
  5. Click the green + sign next to the contact on the list to import the contact into your account (if you already have this caregiver in your TextUs contacts, you will see a green conversation bubble icon instead of a +)
  6. Next, to text that person, click on the green conversation bubble that appears and you will be taken into the conversation page for that contact. 

Viewing your Texts in the Caregiver "Notes" section

  1. In BlueSky, click on "Caregivers" 
  2. Find and click on the caregiver you are looking for
  3. On the left-hand side of the caregiver record, click on "Notes"
  4. Here, you will be able to view all of the previous texts that have been logged between you and this caregiver. In order to ensure that notes will log, you need to have the BlueSky integration enabled in your TextUs account.
